Origin for Energy Investment across the World

A famous newspaper in Australia declared that the Indian giant Adani Group, hopes to bid the Port of Brisbane, this port is owned by the Australian state and Adani is to bid it at the rate of billion recently.  The Reuters report declared that, a couple of firms led by the Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Fund and Global Infrastructure Partners are also participating in the auction. According to the Australian paper, the Adani is at great zeal to purchase the Australian port and it they are leading before the deadline, the Adani controls the largest private port in India, Mundra Port and Special Economic Zone and it the owner and the managing authority of the Port of Brisbane sited in the state of Queensland. 

The vital fact about the Adani Group, the Adani Group has been permitted to develop a novel port for coal, sited at the Dudgeon Point in the northern part of the Queensland, situated near the current port Dalrymple Bay. The Coal project of the Linc Energy in Australia is to be purchased by the Adani Group, which costs around .7 billion. The Reuters Sources in the July declared that the port was to be bided by the Global Infrastructure Partners; it is United States based investment company, the Queensland Investment Corp, governed by the State Government and the Macquarie Capital.

Question by Chief: What effect will increasing oil prices have on energy mutual funds?

My answer is a positive effect. But the real question you have to ask yourself is whether or not physical crude is going to run up, or settle down. Because if it settles, the net effect on energy mutual funds becomes negative.

• “Less-bad” indicators suggest the worst of the recession is over, boosting risk appetite and helping small-cap stocks to rally more than 50% from March lows, which SEI believes will prove to have marked the trough of the bear market.

• The dramatic recovery in share prices, while fairly extreme by historical standards, is not out of line for the early stages of a bear-market rebound, and SEI believes it is correctly anticipating an economic recovery.

The regulatory diktat of abolishing entry fee for mutual funds has received a good coverage in the financial media and blogosphere. Almost in all of the news coverage, it has been hailed as a beneficial to individual investors. Many financial and personal bloggers have also published individual post explaining how and why it will be good for individual investors. This was a typical example of herd mentality – everybody saying good so it is good. I am surprised that personal finance folks are also providing one sided opinion.

I found only one article by Shewta, at PersonalMoney.in, which provides a balanced analysis on the impact it may have on various players. I am taking this one step further to provide my understanding and implication on individual investors.
